Owner, Licensed Clinical Psychologist

I received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from St. John's University in 2005, a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from St. John's University in 2001 and a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans in 1997. I was intensively trained in DBT by Behavioral Tech, LLC in 2007. I was trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for the treatment of PTSD by Elizabeth Hembree, Ph.D. of the University of Pennsylvania CTSA. I received a Certificate for training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety disorders: Components of Care from Postpartum Support International (PSI). I am Credentialed with the National Register for Health Service Psychologists.

For over 20 years, I have completed psychological evaluations, provided individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and DBT to clients in outpatient, inpatient and residential treatment settings. I supervised and trained student and staff therapists. I was the DBT Team leader, who coordinated the DBT programs and trained staff to provide DBT at two hospitals in the Philadelphia area.

It has been a pleasure to have my own private psychotherapy practice since 2012. I am proud to be able to hire quality licensed therapists to provide psychotherapy, training, supervision and consultation services.

I am a Cognitive Behavioral therapist who focuses the beginning stages of treatment on helping my clients to use skills to improve their everyday functioning. I believe that helping people to understand themselves fully and working through the challenges and life events which influences their functioning is the overall goal of treatment. I am truly blessed and honored to able to work with people to help them improve their lives.

I am passionate about training and supporting other clinicians to provide psychotherapy services. I have trained and supervised clinicians throughout my career. I have also taught Psychology and Internship classes in Master's programs at the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University.

I work collaboratively with you and invite your feedback regarding what is working and not working for you in our therapy sessions.

In community health, I provided outpatient therapy for individuals diagnosed with Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. I worked with people who have difficulty with anger management, a history of Trauma, childhood sexual abuse, addictions/substance abuse, domestic violence and adults with sleep issues. I have experience working with children and adolescents as a Behavior Specialist Consultant, Mobile Therapist and Outpatient Therapist.

I endeavor to provide a warm, accepting, collaborative atmosphere for our sessions, it is important to me that you feel emotionally and physically safe when we work together. Effective therapy happens with a strong therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. My strength is connecting with people and building that rapport.
